International Coastal Cleanup 2010

The BeeTTle Crew is planning to join the International Coastal Cleanup, (annual global beach cleanup efforts) on Saturday 25th September, 2010. We are planning to go either to Salybia beach or Chagville.

Date: September 25th, 2010

Location: Salybia or Chagville

Meeting Point: Salybia or Chagville or Pickup locations

Meeting Time at beach: 7:15 am

Departure time at Pickup points: Arima: 5:45am
St. Augustine UWI: 6:05am or 5:15am depending on where we are going
(email us at thebeetlecrew @ gmail.com (remove the spaces in the email address) or call between 9am and 4pm for details)

Garbage bags will be provided by the organising team for the cleanup location.

Additional gloves and light refreshments are provided courtesy of a prior donation from the Tourism Development Company Ltd. Please walk with anything else you may need.

Wear sunscreen and protective clothing, shoes - no slippers or sandals. Bug repellant is also a good idea.

Wear red or white so we can all find each other.

Persons who have arranged to meet the transport vehicle at the designated location must arrive at the Arima and St. Augustine pick-up locations at the scheduled time or call ahead (# to be disclosed by email) to let the transport person know exactly how long a delay there will be before you arrive. Failure to provide accurate information may result in you getting left behind.

All persons requesting transportation must be ready to leave when the transport vehicle is ready. In other words, if you wish to stay and bathe, you may need to arrange your own transport.
