International Coastal Cleanup 2006

The BeeTTle Crew will join in the International Coastal Cleanup 2006 on Saturday 16th September. Cleanups have been organised by the Institute of Marine Affairs (IMA) and Environmental Management Authority (EMA) for the following beaches:

• Salybia - contact Alicia Charles at EMA 628-8042 extension 2238 (no transport provided for volunteers)
• Caura River - contact Gennike Mayers at IMA 634-4291 extension 412 (transport provided, pick-up time 7am at HiLo, St. Augustine)
• Mayaro - contact Osuije at SWMCOL 625-6678 (no transport provided for volunteers)
• Tyrico - contact Marjorie Stevens-Smith at WITCO 662-2271 extension 312
• Chagville/Welcome Bay - contact Gina Carvalho at Yacht Services Association 634-4938
• Grand Courland Bay, Tobago

Garbage bags, gloves, fan rakes and refreshments will be provided at all venues. We are encouraging everyone to join in a cleanup at a location that is convenient for you. If you wish to take advantage of the free transportation provided, please ensure that you call the organisers with the number of volunteers in your group.
